Congratulations with your
new Meiyijia Beads! You can now create your own designs
or you can follow the instructions either on this Packing
or in one of our inspiration books. Place the beads on
the pegboard until you have created the design you want.
You can keep moving the beads until they have been ironed.
Once ironed the beads cannot be used again. If you are
careful when ironing, the pegboard can be used over and
over again.
Meiyijia Beads are available in three sizes and
we recommend that they are ironed at the following temperatures:
Mini bead: Set the iron to the wool setting. Mini bead:
Set the iron to the cotton setting. Maxi bead: Set the
iron to the linen setting.
Place an ironing paper on the pegboard with the
beads. Use a meiyijia ironing paper for a good result.
Always remember to have an adult do the ironing
for you. as both the iron and the bead design get very
hot. The exact temperature may vary from iron to iron.
Therefore it is a good idea first to make a test ironing
of a small bead design, Apply the iron to the ironing
paper for just a few seconds using smooth, circular movements.
Never hold the iron completely still. After having applied
the iron for a short period, the color of the beads will
suddenly be more clearly visible through the ironing paper;
this means that the ironing is finished. Carefully remove
the ironing paper, but leave the ironed design to cool
for a couple of minutes without removing it from the pegboard.
If necessary, repeat the ironing with the ironing paper
still placed on the pegboard. Carefully remove the cooled
design from the pegboard. You will get the best result
if you press it under e.g.a book until it is completely
cooled off.
